Wisconsin Summer Vacation!!

What a summer vacation!!  This year we decided to take a tour of Wisconsin for our family vacation. We started out with a few days at the Wisconsin Dells waterpark, what FUN!!  Then we headed to Gordon's parents house in Minocqua, WI to celebrate the 4th of July and G's sister was there, too.  It was great to see the kids play and spend time with their the cousins.  Then the WHOLE family travelled to Madison, WI for a family wedding.  We enjoyed ourselves so much!  So many amazing memories with our family. 

Linda...Our Summer Nanny!

This summer we are so happy to have Linda a part of our family!  She was a counselor at the camp the girls went to last year and Kirsten & Alexa loved her so much!  This year she is the just watching our girls and we couldn't feel more blessed.  In this picture Linda took the Kirsten and Alexa to the Art Fair, they all loved it!

The celebration continues!

Since celebrating our birthdays in Des Moines wasn't enough, Gordon and I went to Chicago!  It was our 2nd Annual Spring Awakening trip, which happened to fall on my birthday weekend.  YAY!

We are 40!!!!

2018 is a pretty big year for both Gordon and I, as we are turning 40 years old and are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary!

Additionally, I think that it is pretty special that Gordon and I are only 9 days a part in age.  He was born on June 1st and I was born on June 10th.

To celebrate our 40th birthdays, we decided to have an amazing party at the Glen Oaks Country Club.  We had a band, caricature artist, and yummy food.  30+ of our closest friends came to share in our special day, including a surprise guest...my best friend Tiffany!!!

We had an AMAZING time!
