The kiddos

The weather has been so beautiful lately and the kids were up for a few photos, so I ran to get my camera!  Trying to get all of them to look at the camera at the same time is quite challenging.  Drake was good about smiling and looking at me the whole time, but I knew my time was limited since he was holding both of his sisters on his lap.  I was happy to get them all together for a good shot!

Drake and Kirsten play so well together, it melts my heart.  Basically, Kirsten looks up to her big brother and will do just about anything he says.  In the photo below left, Drake suggested they "act cool" for the photo--so this is them "acting cool"!  Drake is so good with Alexa, always asking to hold her and he loves staring into her blue eyes with a big smile.  I'd say there is lots of love between these siblings!

Annual girls trip--San Francisco 2012

A new tradition has been set with my best girlfriends of 15 years.  With the hustle bustle of our lives, kids, families, work... you name it, we wanted to set aside some time each year to re-cap what has been going on and enjoy each other's company.

This year we decided to go to San Francisco--what a great trip!!  It started out with heartfelt talks and girl time, followed by some shopping.  We spent one day taking in all the sights and being tourists.  Our second night there was so much fun with an evening a Beach Blanket Babylon--totally San Francisco!  Our last night we scored FREE tickets to see Coldplay--great way to end a fabulous vacation.
