Danielle is 40!!! Happy Birthday!

One of my besties turned 40 years old on February 18th...Danielle!  Her birthday was full of lots of surprises, for starters...my arrival!  I flew from Des Moines to LA to spend the weekend with my girl and she was so happy to see me (and surprised, yay!).  On Saturday, her finance Todd threw her a surprise party where 30-40 people helped us celebrate this landmark birthday.  Our other best friends came into town and were able to join in the festivities.  It was a fantastic trip with a lot of great memories!

Daddy and Daughters Dance

The girls were able to have a special night with Gordon at the Daddy & Daughter Dance.  They wore fancy dresses, had flower corsages, and danced the night away!  It was a special event for all three of them, love!

Caucus Time in Iowa!!

It's political season!  And don't we know from all the commercials on TV.  Iowa is the first state to cast their votes for the Presidential race and we wanted to be a part of it.  Gordon and I went with our friends and neighbors, Becki and Jared, to our local precinct to caucus.  It was an enjoyable experience and we are glad we did it!
