Alexa is off and almost running!

Alexa took her first steps last weekend while we were up north in Wisconsin at her Nana and Papa's house. Now she is off and almost running!  She will walk from room to room, we are so proud of her!!  Her big brother Drake has been working with her to walk for a couple of weeks now.  All of his hard work paid off because Alexa can get from point A to B easily.  Now I'll need to buy her some shoes!!

Introducing... Mike & Greta Kock

Last weekend the family attended the wedding of Mike and Greta.  It was beautiful and so wonderful to see these two get married.  Gordon was in the wedding party and looked very handsome in his tuxedo!  The kids were very well behaved and Gordon's parents kindly watched them for us as we stayed longer to spend time with friends.

Introducing... Mike and Greta Kock!

Our Vegas Vacation Album

We took 400+ photos over the 7 days we were in Las Vegas, there were so many great opportunities to take photos! I narrowed down the favorites and captured them in an online photo book for all to enjoy. The album will turn the pages on its own, it needs a few second to load all the photos. You can click on the link below or in the picture box. http://smilebox.com/playBlog/4d7a49314d6a4d354f54553d0d0a&blogview=true

Bathroom Remodel -- complete!!

Even though our home is only 5 years old, Gordon and I have talked about remodeling our master bathroom for awhile now.  It started after we admired my Mom's newly remodeled bathroom and fell in love with her frameless glass shower enclosure.  We decided to replace our glass, but knew that we should replace the tile too (since the new glass will show off the stone/tile).  To keep it consistent, we had to replace all the stone/tile in the bathroom... and if we are going to rip up the floor, we should add radiant heating, too. 6 weeks later, the bathroom is complete!!  Plus, we added a steam shower option too!  So HAPPY!!
