First Day of School 2017!!!

And off to school they go!  Alexa is on her way to 1st grade with Kirsten going to 2nd, and Drake is a big 6th grader.  The girls are excited to see their school friends and get back into a routine (me too!)  and Drake is playing the Saxophone as he heads to Middle School. 
I look at these pictures and can't believe how fast they've grown.  It really does go by so fast, and it's been an amazing journey!



   

Iowa State Fair 2017! Nothing Compares!

It was another great year at the Iowa State Fair!  I kicked off the first Saturday night at the I Love the 90s concert with Kristin, Adam, and Jenny.  We had a blast that also included a Roller Coaster ride!  Jackie and Steve drove into town and we took the 'first-timers' to the Fair, as well.  They both thought it was a great time to spend with family.  Nothing compares to the Iowa State Fair!!

Gymnastics Meet 2017

Alexa and Kirsten competed in their first gymnastics meet and both were victorious!  Alexa (6) took first place in Level A, age 6 and Kirsten (7) took third place in Level C, age 7-9.
Nana and Papa  were in town and enjoyed the meet, too!  We are so proud of of girls and their accomplishments!



     

Alexa's 6th Birthday!

Alexa celebrated her 6th birthday with a fun pool party!  The great thing about summer birthdays is enjoying some fun in the sun.  12 of her friends spent the afternoon swimming, going down the slides, having cannonball contests, and we can't forget eating pizza and cake, plus opening presents!!
