Introducing... Benjamin Michael England!

My best friend, Danielle, had her first baby on August 16th.  Benjamin Michael England was born at 11:56pm at a whooping 9lbs 9 ozs.  He is such a handsome baby!!  Danielle and Todd are overjoyed--their hearts are so full!
Gordon and I are flying to LA in September to see this little one in person, we can't wait!!

Another summer has come and gone!  When the Iowa State Fair rolls around, we know that our summer days are numbered, BUT we also know that we're in for a good time as a family at the Fair!

Love Your Spouse Challenge

Recently on FaceBook there was a Love Your Spouse Challenge where, if challenged, you were to post photos of you and your spouse for 7 days to promote love and celebrate marriage.  It was so much fun to look back at all of the photos and memories I've shared with Gordon.  So, in the spirit of celebrating our marriage, here are the photos I posted of me and My Love!

4th of July Fun!

 Yes, I know it's August and I'm just getting around to posting these photos...but, that's okay!!  :)
After coming back from Mexico, two days later was the 4th of July.  We celebrated with a fireworks display at our friends Adam & Kirsten's parents house on the 3rd, then went to a parade in our neighborhood during the day on the 4th, and finished up with our own fireworks display that night!
Drake and I were having some fun with SnapChat filters, hence the funny photos below  :)
