Jackie's Minocqua Molly

Over Memorial Day weekend Gordon, Drake and I went to Gordon's hometown of Minocqua, WI to visit his parents. We had a great time, and part of the fun was playing with the newest addition to his parent's home - an adorable puppy named Molly!

2 Birthdays, Mother's Day, & the PBR

Sorry for the delay in posting to the blog, but we've been busy over here in Des Moines! Recently, we had a house full of visitors to celebrate my niece Taylor's 3rd birthday, as well as my father-in-law Steve's birthday. To add to the fun, we also celebrated Mother's day!

One of the birthday gifts to Taylor (and also to Hailey) was the farm playhouse shown below, it was a gift from Nana and Papa--the girls couldn't wait to play with it (and get in it)! Megan and her Mom were trying to put it together, but the girls kept jumping into it or jumping on it--you can imagine the laughter. It stood upright for a couple of minutes, then Hailey decided to steamroll over it and it fell down again. Ultimately, it was a great gift that the girls love!

Steve is shown in the picture with a gift from his Mom & sister. It was a baseball cap with a wooden trim bill. Gordon and I treated my in-laws to a Professional Bull Riding show at the Wells Fargo Arena here in Des Moines. This is our 2nd year attending the show and everyone had a blast.
